One road leads to a small village in the Southeastern part of El Salvador. This merger is approximately 20 minutes from La Unión, the capital city of the municipality and department. Playa Playitas and Punta Chiquirín are locally known for its pentecostal and apostolic communities along with its beaches.
The local market of La Unión, known as El Mercado, is a place full of activities, stores, and restaurants. Public evangelism takes place within the market through conversations and music played meanwhile folks purchase goods.
Pastor Jose Hernandez shows the place where he and two other family members would lay if they would pass away. The cemetery of Punta Chiquirín reflects the role of Christianity within the village since the majority of tombstones have at least a crucifix and a verse of the Bible engraved on the stone or tile.

In the evening, church members enter the temple for an afternoon service in La Unión. Church buildings are common to see within the smaller villages demonstrating that religion does a play a role in the lives of the nearby communities.
